Pyrogenium may be used to treat severe infections with rotten and offensive discharges or secretions (stools, urine, sweat, breath, vomit, menses). Examples include types of typhoid fever, empyema, severe sinusitis, puerperal infection, and blood sepsis. It may also be used to help with (spoiled beef) infections, pus formation, flu, kidney inflammation, and gallbladder and gastrointestinal tract pressure ulcers.
