Trametinib is a cancer drug that interferes with the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. It can be used alone or along with another medicine called Dabrafenib to treat certain types of cancer in people who have a โ€œBARFโ€ gene mutation. Trametinib may be used to help with melanoma (skin cancer), non-small cancer lung cancer that has spread to other parts of the body, or advanced or metastatic thyroid cancer that has spread and that there is no other option.
