Indian Gooseberry, also known as Amla, is a small, tart, light green fruit that is full of nutrients and grows in India, the Middle East, and parts of Southeast Asia. Indian Gooseberry is highly used in Ayurvedic medicine and is considered a superfood. It has been used to control diabetes, aid with digestion, rejuvenate many of the body’s organs and functions, prevent heart disease, help with high cholesterol, prevent cancer, improve liver health, reduce inflammation, ease arthritis and joint pain, improve memory, balance estrogen levels, and treat menstrual cramps.
