Ginseng has been used for thousands of years in Chinese medicine as a kidney qi tonic. In Western medicine, it is used as an adrenal adaptogen, immune stimulant, and general tonic. It is indicated for fatigue, immune enhancement, low libido, brain fog, and depression. There are many types of ginseng, and each has unique properties. This formula is Eleutherococcus senticosus, or Siberian ginseng.
