HMG, also known as Human Menopausal Gonadotropin, is a synthetic peptide that may be used to help treat fertility disorders in both men and females. In men, HMG stimulates testosterone production; while in females it stimulates follicle-stimulating hormones (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), which are necessary for ovulation.
